PAUL OTTESON is a Madison-based songwriter who delivers literary inspired, artfully crafted songs in an intimate chamber folk style. Front man of the band Faux Fawn, Otteson is a tireless creator; having released several solo and full band albums over the past 15 years to great acclaim. After a multi-year hiatus, he returns with his most personal effort to date. "Alright, I Get It, Alright" is a reckoning along the passage of midlife and a meditation on the chaos there within. Written entirely in the span of one month and recorded in the same year, this album lives in a space of soft reflection; with hope-filled melodies to warm the heart and poetic verse to soothe the soul.
